Even though I am a straight female, I must agree with you. Kate Beckinsale is a very attractive woman. Because my husband also agrees with you, we have seen several of her movies (despite the fact that most of the movies are not very good). She is also a pretty good actress (not that I imagine you care). I even think that she is on my husband’s “list”. I would love to know who disagrees so heavily with you.

Actually I DO care, I'm not as shallow as you might think :P I liked "Shooting Fish" (that movie always cheers me up, it's in my top 5 favorites along with the Shawshank Redemption, which is my the best movie of all time, although I haven't seen the godfather so I reserve the right to change my opinion), and "Serendipity", "Van Helsing", "Underworld", "Laurel Canyon" (although she can't fake an orgasm that well, and I FUCKING HATE SERGE GAINSBOURG FOR BONNIE ET CLYDE). A friend told me that she is just a beautiful woman. SHE IS NOT JUST A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, SHE HAS AN ENGLISH ACCENT TOO (always a big plus)!
I must say, not only am I surprised at your answer, but also at how much we agree on.
I love the “Shawshank Redemption”. It is an excellent movie. As to Kate Beckinsale’s movies, I have only seen here in two. “Serendipity” is wonderful, and “Van Helsing” sucked. Not because of her, but because it was an awful vampire movie. Which is why I refuse to watch underworld, it is the same type of movie. I will have to watch "Laurel Canyon" and "Shooting Fish" after your recommendation.
Also, she does have a great English accent.
Van Helsing was actually quite entertaining once you made peace with the fact that it's so over-the-top. Underworld is not so much of a fairy tale, I liked it. Shooting fish is the shit, I knew Kate was going to be #1 ever since I saw her there.
You'd better be right about Shooting Fish. We just bought that on Amazon.com for $5. I am a big Kate Beckinsale fan - but what man isn't? She's hot. Definitely top five.
